My Background

 

My Name is Edgard Orozco, but my friends call me Ed. Born to Nicaraguan parents, born and raised in San Francisco in the late 70's. Spent most of my life in Northern California with a few years in Southern California sprinkled in throughout. Currently my occupation is foreman of a service department within Local 38. A plumbing union here in San Francisco. My passion for art, photography and design has always been a passion since I was small boy and continues to be as I expand my work. I excelled in design all throughout high school and continued into college. I attended art school in my 20's but always felt disconnected and felt the corporate push to crank out students with no security of work after graduation, it wasn't my cup of tea. I dropped out and made the decision to go for the "sure" thing in plumbing. Art has always been lingering in my life even as work, family and all the other things that come with adulthood, became the main focus. Today I am slowly returning to my first love. Art and design (Don't tell my wife that). I welcome you to my site and I hope you find inspiration in my work.

My hopes is that what I create catches your eye, moves you and makes you want to own a part of what I create. Through my photography, art prints and designs, I look to invoke love, thought provoking, curiosity and maybe inspire others to join me in creating. Anything you come across on my site is for sale.
